FAQ and T&C's

Do I need a referral to see a Nourish health professional?

No, you do not necessarily need a referral from your GP or medical specialist to attend our services.

I would like to book an appointment sooner rather than later but I cannot see any available times, what can I do?

Make an enquiry or call 0415 209 000 to be added to our waiting list. If an earlier appointment becomes available, we will notify you.

I do not live with diabetes, can I still book a nutrition appointment with Rebecca?

Of course! In addition to diabetes, Rebecca has also completed her Monash University certificate for managing IBS and is well experienced with iron deficiency, coeliac disease, weight management and malnutrition.

Can I claim NDIS and do you attend home visits?

Yes, we support the NDIS. Please email relevant information about your client to nourish@nourishadl.com.au and book an appointment via calling 0415 209 000

Can I claim my appointments with my private health provider?

Yes, all of our services (except pharmacy appointments) is covered under private health. Please directly talk with your insurance company for you to know your rebate amount.

Is there anything I should bring to my appointments?

Please come with a hard copy of your GP referral, any relevant blood test results and your glucose meter (or a blood glucose diary). If you are seeing Rebecca for a nutrition appointment, it may be worthwhile bringing along a food and symptom diary.

I prefer to have my appointments over the phone, is this okay?

Sure, just let us know at the time of booking your appointment.

Do you provide meal plans?

Before providing meal plans, our dietitian will arrange an appointment with you so we can get to know you better — the foods you like and dislike, any food allergies or intolerances, your eating habits and lifestyle and the list goes on. We only provide tailored and personalised nutrition advice — no cookie cutter plans here! Ask us about your tailored meal plan at your appointment.
