Ingredients:
400g tinned no added salt chickpeas
1⁄4 packet dark chocolate chips
6 pitted dates
1 cup rolled oats
2 tbsp maple syrup
Method:
- Drain and rinse the chickpeas under water
- Blend the rolled oats in a food processor or blender for two minutes for a “flour” like texture
- Add the dates, maple syrup and chickpeas and blend until the dough is formed
- Stir in the chocolate chips
- Roll into small balls and refrigerate for 1 hour before eating
